Gordana Dragovic Lukic is a Head of the Pharmacokinetic Unit of the antiretroviral drugs at the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade. Appointed as Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Belgrade, Serbia since May 2015. She works predominantly in HIV and viral hepatitis field.
The research activity of Professor Dragovic Lukic has focused mainly on clinical outcomes on the treatment of HIV infection and hepatitis virus co-infections, pharmacokinetics and pharmacogenomics of antiretrovirals, drug-drug interactions, adherence issue, etc. Recentlly she expaneded her work on the pathogenesis and treatment of different toxicities such as dyslipidemia, lipodystrophy syndrome, metabolic syndrome and aging issue.
Professor Gordana Dragovic Lukic has published a number of scientific papers listed in PubMed. She has also made over 150 conference presentations and is author of several chapters on Textbooks of Pharmacology. She has been Chair or member of the organizing committee or the program committee of National and European workshops and conference on HIV.
Professor Dragovic Lukic is actively working with governmental and non-governmental organizations working in HIV/AIDS field.
