Meredith Greene is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics at the University of California San Francisco. She is a geriatrician and American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist who is interested in how to improve care for the increasing numbers of older adults living with HIV. Specifically, she is interested in how geriatric assessment can be integrated in HIV clinical care settings. Her work has described functional impairment, multiple medication use and geriatric syndromes in older adults with HIV. Dr. Greene is also the co- medical director for the website HIV-age.org, a collaboration between the American Geriatrics Society, American Academy of HIV Medicine, and ACRIA. She is the associate director of the Golden Compass (HIV and aging) program at San Francisco General Hospital where she provides weekly consultations for patients living with HIV.
