Ousman Umar

After 5 years on foot journey from Ghana through the north of Africa and the desert, Mr. Ousman Umar finally got to Spain in 2005, at the age of 17 almost illiterate. After 6 years, he was able to overcome all the difficulties and pass the selectivity exam and be admitted to the University of Barcelona (Faulty of Chemistry). Recently, Mr. Umar has completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Marketing at University of Barcelona and is currently studying a Master’s Degree in Management in Non-Governmental Organizations by ESADE. He has experience working in several Social Projects and, since 2012, Mr. Umar is the Founder and President of the NASCO-Feeding Minds Foundation. A Foundation with the mission to provide academic resources in order to support educational initiatives and with social, economic and environmental activities, to improve the lives of underprivileged communities in the Republic of Ghana. Moreover, Mr. Umar has been an Inspiring and Motivational Speaker since 2011 with experience in the educational, company and congresses fields.
